NYSC CDS Group to Hold Financial Literacy Seminar at KadPoly

The Financial Inclusion Community Development Service (CDS) group of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is set to host a financial literacy seminar at the Department of Mass Communication, Kaduna Polytechnic, Tudun Wada Campus.

The event is scheduled for April 17, 2025, and will focus on helping students build basic financial knowledge. Topics will include savings, budgeting, and responsible money management.

According to the organizers, the seminar will benefit over 200 participants, including students and lecturers. A formal letter has been submitted requesting a conducive venue and a sound system to ensure effective delivery.

Ngban Ledua A., president of the CDS group, said the seminar is part of their mission to promote financial awareness among young Nigerians. “This program will empower students with practical skills to manage their finances wisely,” he said.

The event will feature interactive sessions and real-life money tips tailored to student life. It is expected to be one of the key student-focused events of the semester.
